There are 2 comments on POV: Who Speaks For Immigrant Children?

  1. This is who we are. We treat kids as criminal, support murderess no-fascist regime in Ukraine, treat Islamic fighters as friends if they fight for our cause, take last piece of bread from Argentina children, use slave labor of developing countries and so on ….and all of this is to drive huge cars, live in huge home and watch huge TV where huge guys smash they heads against each other.

Panem today. Panem tomorrow. Panem forever.

  2. What would you like to see done, though? Without a solution to the injustice, what good does it do to call it out? Awareness, yes, but is there a way to fix it?
If I recall, the children’s immigration cases were expedited due to a lack of space and care for said children and a growing concern about parents dropping children off in the United States in the hopes that the child would be more likely to be able to stay on their own. How would you suggest these matters be addressed?
