  1. Congratulations Mary Elizabeth !! You have made a distinctive difference in the life of the institutional church. Gratitude and grace are extended to you in this chapter of your gifted life and ministry.

  2. The school, church, and world are better for Mary Elizabeth’s many contributions, particularly for her clear thinking, compassion and articulation of them. BSTH has been most fortunate to have her as dean and mentor to many. I know that her contributions to the human family will continue in the next chapter of her life. Blessings, dear friend!

  3. Congratulations Mary Elizabeth! We stand in awe of your outstanding career, and remember you fondly from “many moons” ago in El Paso.

  4. These brief responses are a glimpse into Mary Elizabeth’s hopeful vision for future community and deep knowledge of issues we must address to become the people we are created to be. Mary Elizabeth’s teaching, writing, speaking and friendship are transformational for individuals and institutions. May God richly bless ME’s journey ahead.

  5. Mary Elizabeth – what a gift you are to both BU and to the church as a whole. Your commitment to social justice and to sensitivity and respect in relationships are an inspiration to me and I am sure to many others. May God bless you in your future work and journey.
