The Office of the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Affairs provides leadership for University-wide academic programs, promotes curricular innovation, and facilitates the collaboration of Boston University’s 17 schools and colleges to strengthen the undergraduate experience. The office supports students applying for prestigious national and international scholarships; awards student scholarships and prizes for academic achievement; and confers faculty awards for excellence in teaching.
Introduced in fall 2018, the BU Hub is a university-wide general education program for undergraduate students that emphasizes working across disciplines to prepare for a complex and diverse world.
Academic advising is integral to BU’s teaching mission, engaging students in a collaborative process to explore academic and co-curricular opportunities as part of a plan to realize academic, career, and life goals.
