Unique Commitment Undergraduate Research
At BU, undergrad ideas are not under-appreciated.
Very few universities support undergraduate research as strongly as BU. Our Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) provides funding for faculty-mentored research in the humanities, natural sciences, medicine, arts, and education. Established in 1997, UROP has helped more than 3,000 undergrads with projects ranging from accounting to zebrafish genetics. Funding comes from the University, individual faculty grants, alumni and corporate donations, government, and private foundations. Learn more
